Item Description
Complete set of five approx. 19x24.75" artboards w/pen and ink w/inkwash original art by Harry North titled "C.R.E.E.P. Of The Year" that was published in "MAD" Magazine #246 (April 1984). Story is narrated by Robin Williams spoof named "Rubin Willyums," who visits C.R.E.E.P. (Crisis Relocation Emergency Evacuation Planner) and learns about the government's plans for relocating citizens in the event of a nuclear attack. He follows the C.R.E.E.P. as he visits Army facility (w/open nuclear missile silo caps visible in bkg.) and then to town where local law enforcement does not seem welcoming to any potential refugees. Title blurb and all dialog text are printed paste-overs. Bottom of each artboard has story page number/title/issue number. Some lt. scattered aging around some paste-overs, but art is o/w clean and Exc. Great Robin Williams likeness featured majority of panels.
