Item Description
"Akumaizer 3" is a Japanese sci-fi tokusatsu (live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) series produced by Toei Company, premiering Oct. 7, 1975 and running for 38 episodes. While obscure outside Japan, it was popular and renowned in its home country. Offered here is wonderfully illustrated store display card featuring image of the three main characters - Xavitan, Evil and Gabra (Xavitan is at center). Die-cut display card holds complete amount of 12 toy watches w/1.25x1.75" brass-colored tin cases and elastic fabric bands. Watches feature printed paper dials w/two different designs; Xavitan on motorcycle (5) and all three characters together (7). Made in Japan exclusively for the Japanese market, c. 1975. Small Toei sticker at upper left of display card, which shows some scattered corner tip wear but remains unpunched. VF. Watches have some aging to cases but are o/w Exc. Scarce display.
