Item Description
Lot of three items signed by comic book legend Jim Steranko. 8x10.25" slipcase contains softcover edition of "Steranko: Arte Noir" published in Spain by Gijón, ©2002 Jim Steranko. This is a signed edition of 3,000 and title page has been boldly signed in red felt tip pen by Steranko. Book is filled w/classic Steranko art. Exc. 12.25x16.25" portfolio contains six numbered plate prints for "'Repent Harlequin!' Said The TickTockMan" story by Harlan Ellison w/art by Steranko. Published by Byron Preiss Visual Publications, Inc. ©1978. Portfolio shows moderate aging/handling w/some scattered staining. Fine. First plate has been signed by both, Ellison in black felt tip pen, Steranko in pencil. Handwritten "C/1500" edition designation has also been added to signed plate. Plates are Exc. 21.5x29.25" print features Steranko's art and is titled "The Return Of Valkyrie" and features large image of Valkyrie looming over Airboy, Skywolf, Black Angel and Birdie.
