Item Description
12x17.5" mat contains original art created by Mark Arminski for his personal business cards in the mid to late 1980s. After creating a number of concerts posters and flyers for Rob Tyner (lead singer of Detroit hard rock band MC5), Arminski decided he should have a business card that reflected the his designs, so he fashioned this art, featuring a stat paste-over of a topless woman at center (Arminski's art that he resized on a Xerox machine) and a hand-cut Rubylith overlay, which is missing one small accent at left. The large stylized "Mark L. Arminski" name at top was all hand-inked and is applied to 11x16.5" artboard. Large blocked out area was where Arminski's contact info/shipping address was printed, though this original art bears large Arminski signature in blue ink. This blocked area has also been applied to artboard and shows even aging. Neat design and ready from framing. VF/Exc. Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
