Original illustrated cardboard box contains 8.25" tall tin litho and plastic wind-up w/built-in key. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Takara, 1970s. Steel Jeeg, also known as Kotetsu Jeeg or Koutetsu Jeeg, is a Super Robot anime/manga series created by manga artists Go Nagai and Tatsuya Yasuda. The anime TV series was produced by Toei Doga (now Toei Animation) and was first broadcast in Japan in 1975, lasting for 46 episodes. Box is complete w/both cardboard inserts and shows wear w/scattered creases and corner tip/edge wear. Fine overall. Jeeg has just some lt. scattered wear in the form of some paint nicks/scratches and is VF/Exc. overall. Works.
