Item Description
27x41.25" one-sheet for the 1950 Filmcraft re-release of the 1936 serial starring Buster Crabbe. This is general poster and is not chapter-specific. Image of Flash Gordon fighting gorilla-like alien at top w/photo image of Crabbe and co-star Jean Rogers at lower left. Poster has been linen-mounted and has had extensive restoration to margins as well as some restoration along original fold lines. Upper right margin has 1.25x2.5" area w/scattered surface paper loss, only slightly infringing upon poster graphics. VG overall, but if framed, majority of margin issues could be hidden. Poster retains vivid color and still makes for nice display. Comes w/27x41" one-sheet for the original 1952 release of the Columbia serial starring Buster Crabbe. Poster has been folded as issued and has pin holes at corners w/strips of aged tape at top/bottom center margins. Margins show scattered wear w/more moderate wear along bottom margin, including small piece off lower left corner and .25" piece out of margin at lower left. Poster also has some wear along folds w/tape on back and at fold crease intersections, resulting in small holes/splits 1/8" to .25". VG/Fine overall.
