Item Description
12-7/8x19.5" thin artboard features artist Stan Woch's pen and ink original art for page 26 of the Sept. 1985 issue of "New Teen Titans" Vol. 2 #12, published by DC Comics. Woch has worked on various titles since he began his career in the early 1980s, including "Swamp Thing" and "World's Finest Comics" among others. Splash page features close-up of Congressman Wither's face w/two flashback panels contained within. The Congressman's glasses reflect the Teen Titans, including Wonder Girl, Nightwing, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Kole. The flashback deals w/the Congressman's wife and a meeting w/her accountant after he discovers some murders that might be tied to her. Page has been inked by Romeo Tanghal. Top margin has production notations w/handwritten inked title and issue/page number. Text balloons are paste-overs which have aged due to adhesive used. Artboard is VF overall w/Exc. art.
