Item Description
10.5x15-5/8" thin DC Comics artboard features pencils by artist Win Mortimer and inks by Vince Colletta. Original art for page 2 of the Aug. 1981 issue of "Superman Family" #209, published by DC Comics. Mortimer (1919-1998) was a comic book artist best-known as one of the major illustrators of Superman. He additionally drew for Marvel Comics, Gold Key Comics and other publishers. Page features six panels and features Supergirl flying w/her suitcase to her new New York City apartment, looking it over and flying out the window, declaring "New York, New York! I Love It!" Top margin has handwritten title/issue number/date. Some scattered white correctional fluid, but art remains clean and Exc.
