Item Description
11.25x17" thin artboard features artist Pat Broderick's pen and ink original art for cover of the April 1989 issue of "Captain Atom" #28, published by DC Comics. Broderick is a comic book artist known for his work on "Micronauts" and also for penciling the "Batman: Year Three" storyline written by Marv Wolfman, which detailed the first meeting of Batman and Tim Drake. Cover features villain The Ghost attacking Captain Atom, who cowers at lower right. Page has been inked by Romeo Tanghal. Top margin has production notations w/handwritten inked title and issue number. Top also has DC publishing indicia and title paste-overs. Art has acetate overlay w/ghostly effects of The Ghost's powers printed on it. Overlay has been taped in place along margins. Some additional production notations at bottom. Artboard has some scattered aging/dust soiling and is Fine/VF overall w/Exc. art.
