Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 7" tall tin litho wind-up (w/rubber ears and hands) depicting manga/anime giant robot character Devil Garon, created by "Astro Boy" creator Osamu Tezuka. Produced by the Osaka Tin Toy Institute in the 1990s, box lid features great illustration of Garon w/pilot pointing from inside chest (a detail that is replicated on the toy itself, w/opening chest panel). Box is complete w/both die-cut cardboard inserts as well as two slips of paper about the toy w/image of Garon. One slip has "173" stamped number. Box is Exc. w/just lt. wear. Toy comes w/separate key in original sealed bag and is NM, old store stock.
