Item Description
Pair of original cardboard boxes w/illustrated lids contain same tin litho friction sparking guns w/siren sound. Made in Japan by Daiya, 1960s. Boxes feature two lid varieties, w/differing depiction of spaceman firing this very gun on main panel as well as differences to side panels. Boxes show some scattered handling wear/aging and are Fine overall. Guns feature "Space Rescue" rocketship image and "Space Gun" name above grips, which feature Daiya name and "Space 577001" text/number. One gun has weak friction action and no longer sparks and has some artifacting to lithography on both sides at rocketship image. Fine. Other gun has working friction w/siren but also does not spark.
