Item Description
1.5x2-3/8" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 44 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers and other subjects.
Pedro Dibut played in MLB for the Cincinnati Reds in 1924-25 with a record of 3-0 and a 2.21 ERA. in 1923, he played for the Cuban Stars West of the Negro National League and in 1926 played with Raleigh in the Peidmont League with a combined record of 15-20 over those two seasons. This card is graded 50 VG/EX 4 and is designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
