Item Description
14x15.5" wooden frame contains mat w/6-1/8x6-7/8" opening revealing hand-inked and painted acetate animation production cel featuring image of Hop Low and Dancing Mushrooms from the "Chinese Dance" section of the "Nutcracker Suite" portion of the 1940 animated Disney musical feature. Original Courvoisier set-up over airbrushed Courvoisier bkg. "WDP" stamp at lower right corner. Image area (including dewdrops) measures 4-7/8x5.5". Back of frame has original Courvoisier label. Minor hairline and small area of paint lifting to front right mushroom, but all remains in place and set-up retains a NM display. Stunning piece of animation, all original and as issued.
