Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains original foam packing and 4.75" tall die-cast metal and plastic robot from the "Ganbare!! Robocon" comedy tokusatsu (any live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) series produced by Toei that aired in Japan from Oct. 4, 1974 to March 25, 1977. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy, 1970s. Box shows some lt. wear and is VF/Exc. Robot is missing small wooden pencil that was inserted into his arm (easily replaced), but is o/w complete w/all five separate plastic "books" housed in his chest and magnetic claw hand. Figure also comes w/unused decal sheet for "books" and illustrated Popy catalog showing other tokusatsu toys. Figure has some lt. aging to translucent plastic mortarboard but is o/w NM.
