See previous item #1490. Pair of 16.5x23" Strathmore artboards w/pen and ink original art for 1958 Sunday pages. Art by Joe Musial is for Sept. 21 and Dec. 7, 1958. Pages feature Hans and Fritz as well as Mama and der Captain. First page features Mama yelling at/beating Captain for not mowing the lawn, which causes Hans and Fritz to laugh. Captain gets angry and makes the boys mow, only for them to do a poor job, getting Captain in trouble w/Mama again. Second page features Hans and Fritz in school, scheming open a keg of apple juice. Class tattler Rollo follows, where the boys trick him into drinking from barrel of oil instead. Art has some production notations and printing marks along margin as well as some scattered handling wear/dust soiling and moderate aging to margin edges. Pinholes at top corners. Fine overall, but art remains clean and Exc. and would make for nice display if framed.
