See previous item #1490. Pair of 16.5x22.5" Strathmore artboards w/pen and ink original art for 1958-1959 Sunday pages. Art by Joe Musial is for Feb. 9, 1958 and April 26, 1959. Pages feature Hans and Fritz as well as Mama, der Captain and der Inspector. First page features Hans and Fritz spying on Inspector's art, laughing and stealing it. Inspector chases after them, mistakenly hitting hyena, who chases him. Second page features Captain and Inspector sneaking off to enjoy some of The King's cider. Hans and Fritz follow w/camera, scheming to take picture to show Mama. This backfires when The King's window trap catches them. Art has some production notations and printing marks along margin as well as some scattered handling wear/dust soiling and moderate aging to margin edges. Pinholes at top corners. Fine overall, but art remains clean and Exc. and would make for nice display if framed.
