Item Description
Pair of 16x43.5" signs, originally issued as a two-sided sign designed to be hung on a string to be viewed from both sides, each side featuring different artwork. This example has been separated into to separate halves. Advertises 1943 series of buttons that were included one per package. One side prominently features example buttons from both insignia and airplane series while other side features beanie cap that was available for two box tops and 10¢. This side also prominently features example buttons shown on/around the beanie and cereal box. Each half has three vertical fold lines w/a number of small tears/splits w/tape repairs on backs. .75" tear along top edge of beanie sign. Moderate to heavy scattered dust soiling. Additional scattered handling wear, but colors remain bright and strong overall. VG. A must-have to display alongside your premium set. Rare and only the second example we've offered in our 50 years.
