Item Description
4.5x17.25" thin artboard w/India ink art by Barney Google creator Billy DeBeck. Art is for July 10, 1940 and features three panels, w/Barney Google standing bedside a sick Snuffy Smith, informing him that  a famous actress heard he was sick and has come to visit. Snuffy instructs Barney to show her in, only for her chauffeur to come in w/a fruit basket, having been given the day off and instructed to stay and keep Snuffy company, much to Snuffy's dismay. DeBeck has signed last panel. First panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Margins have a few pencil notes, but art remains Exc.
