Item Description
5.5x21.25" thin artboard w/India ink art by "Blondie" creator Chic Young. Art is for Oct. 8, 1935 and features four panels, w/Blondie answering door after hearing doorbell. Baby Dumpling (Alexander) is present, but Blondie discounts him as having rang the doorbell and goes back inside, only for him to ring bell again, once again confusing his mother. Young has signed last panel. Third panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Back has some penciling and front has some staining from screentone film, most of which is now missing. Third and fourth panels have narrow streak of staining. Fine overall w/VF art.
