Item Description
15.75x18.75" sheet of onionskin paper has mixed media prototype original art for sign promoting 1935 Sinclair Oil premium - "Prehistoric Action Cut-Out Book" - showing book w/boy wearing caveman mask and holding stone axe w/girl playing w/dinosaurs. Book is opened, displaying various dinosaurs and cavemen. Handwritten pencil text at bottom left reads "Suggestion For Pop-Up Display For Stores." Sheet has all over glue staining as once applied to board, but art area still displays nicely. Vertical fold just right of center. Bottom margin has slight trim and sheet is VG/Fine overall.
