12x23.5" sheet of onionskin paper attached to thicker sheet has mixed media prototype original art for sign promoting 1950s Merkel Bologna premium - "Full Color 3-D Circus Toy" - w/images of circus seal, giraffe, clown and circus pony. Bottom left has balloon w/hand-lettered text reading "6 Different Circus Toys In The Series - Get Them All!" Bottom right has image of package of Merkel Bologna w/premium offer on box. This area and area at bottom w/hand-lettered "In Every Package Of Merkel Sliced Bologna" does not have backing as produced. Sheet has three vertical creases and shows some lt. scattered aging/wear. Fine overall. Back has "A Creation Of Sam Gold - Premium King" foil crown sticker. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
