Item Description
10.5x16-1/8" artboard w/pen and ink original art for page 11 of "Captain Marvel" #1, published May, 1968 by Marvel. Art is for "Out Of The Holocaust - A Hero!" storyline by Roy Thomas, featuring art by Gene Colan. Page features two panels, showing armed soldiers rushing to attack large Kree Sentry, who blasts them w/atomic particles, as noted by penciled text at bottom margin. Top margin has "Cap Marvel #1" handwritten title/issue number. Both top and bottom margins have holes punches by corners, not affecting art. Lower left has two small fingerprint smudges and sliver of surface paper lift affecting corner tip of art. Fine overall.
