Item Description
Lot of three Rawlings Official AL balls, all single-signed in blue of blue ink of sweet spot by New York Yankees players/managers. Six-time All-Star and World Series champ Allie Reynolds has signed one ball. Reynolds (1917-1994) was a member of the Yankees 1947-1954, serving as a pitcher and having a 182-107 win-loss record. Ralph Houk (1919-2010) is best known as the successor of Casey Stengel as Yankees manager, his teams winning consecutive World Series championships; 1961-1962. Houk played for the Yankees 1947-1954 and managed 1961-1963, 1966-1973. Bob Lemon (1920-2000) managed the Yankees 1978-1979, 1981-1982 and led the team to a 1978 World Series title. Lemon was inducted into the MLB HOF in 1976. Lemon has added "No Hit 6-30-48" notation below his signature. Balls have been rubbed w/typical aging, but signatures are still bold and sharp and the balls are clean. Exc. overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
