Item Description
18x22" partially printed document signed "Theodore Roosevelt" at bottom left. Roosevelt appoints Calvin F. Smith as Consul to Zanzibar on August 15, 1907. Five each horizontal and vertical folds. Staining along left vertical edge most notably a 3.25" vertical stain extending no further than 1/2" at bottom left corner. Dry mounted to thin cardboard backing. Displays VF. Signature remains clear and bold. Rare. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA/LOA.
