9.5x12.25" folder holds 1952 promo kit for General Features Corp. daily comic strip, touted on folder as "The First Air-Western Adventure Strip Ever Created!" Kit contains glossy 8.5x11" promotional sheet, another 8.5x11" sheet w/text about the strip and three 17x22" proof sheets for the first 30 strips. Proof sheets are folded as issued. Comic strip incorporates spies and space themes. Interesting combination and cutting edge content to keep Autry the "Idol Of The Entertainment World." Scattered handling wear to folder w/corner tip wear and lt. scattered aging. VF. Contents are Exc. overall. Sent to newspaper comic editors to entice them to run the strip and kit saw limited distribution as such.
