Signatures are - Gerry Mulligan, Herbie Mann, Sarah Vaughan, Major Holley, Harold Ashby, Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, Kenny Davern, Dick Hyman, Woody Herman, Stephen Grappelli, Dexter Gordon, Tommy Flannigan, Johnny Griffin, Al Spieldock, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Teddy Wilson and Mel Torme. Signatures appear on front inside cover and facing page, two "Esquire's 1946 Jazz Book" pages for signatures and page facing inside back cover. Those who signed used a variety of different writing instruments and ink colors, a few adding inscriptions. DJ has been clipped and shows obvious wear along spine w/tape repairs to interior. VG. Book itself remains clean w/evenly aged pages. VF/Exc. overall, all signatures displaying Exc. Unique as signed and w/many legendary figures of Jazz. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
