Rawlings Official NL (White) baseball signed in blue ballpoint pen by 27 members of the 1962 New York Mets. This was the first season for the Mets and they finished with an all-time MLB worst record of 40-120, which stands to this day. Ball has been signed by HOF member Richie Ashburn. Other key players who have signed include - Hobie Landrith (first player to be drafted by the Mets), Al Jackson (first winning pitcher in Mets history), Gene Woodling, Marv Throneberry, Gus Bell, Clem Labine, Vinegar Bend Mizell (US Congressman), Frank Thomas, Joe Christopher, Charlie Neal, Bob L.
