Item Description
Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982).  11x17" artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 7, featuring six panels showing Spider-Man shadowing Captain America's alter-ego Steve Rogers, who stops at payphones to make a call. A glow of energy surrounds Steve and Spider-Man throws one of his Spidey-Tracer onto him just before he disappears. Last panel features Spider-Man hoping the tracer landed on Steve just before his Spider Sense goes off as a pair of hands grab him, saying "No False Moves, Mister! You're Coming With Us!" Spider-Man appears in four panels. Steve Rogers appears (and disappears) in three panels. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title and inked issue/page number. Text has all been hand-lettered by Jim Novak. Top/bottom right corners have been clipped, not affecting art or text. Art remains clean and Exc.
