Item Description
Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982). 11x17" artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 17, featuring four panels showing Sultan continuing to rant and rave at Captain America, stating that the US Government must fall. Cap tries to talk him out of it, offering to fight him for the country, an offer Sultan refuses as his Biotron constructs work machinery in bkg. Captain America appears in three panels. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title (crossed out) and inked issue/page number. Text balloons are all paste-overs, which have aged. Top/bottom right corners have been clipped, not affecting art or text. Art remains clean and Exc.
