Item Description
Lot of three promotional items that saw limited distribution to newspaper comic editors in attempts to entice them to run KFS strips in their papers. 3.25" dia. by 2-5/8" tall painted glass perfume bottle w/detailed glass poppy stopper has "King Features Syndicate, Inc. - April 25, 1927" name/date painted on side. Trace wear but Exc. overall. 4.75x8" glass tray features the following characters - Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Buzz Sawyer, Archie, Prince Valiant, Scamp, Steve Canyon, Henry, Bringing Up Father, Little Iodine, Snuffy Smith and Rip Kirby. 1950s. Underside has .75" hairline scratch, but tray is o/w Exc. w/no chips. 3.75x5.25x7/8" deep factory-sealed double deck of playing cards featuring KFS characters. ©1968 KFS, Inc. Backs of cards features Beetle Bailey, Popeye, Blondie, The Phantom and Snuffy Smith. NM as sealed.
