Item Description
20x30-1/8" post-World War I poster promoting Victory Loan tour made by Army Air Corp biplanes, which sought to sell bond to aid in recovery after the war. Printed by Sackett & Wilhelms Corporation of New York, 1919. Poster features art by Kate E. Watkins showing biplanes in flight above speeding locomotive w/"The Victory Loan Flyers - Watch For The Airplane Special" text. Bottom left corner has some moderate insect damage and poster has some lt. margin wear, but aside from lt. even aging, poster would display VF if framed. Rolled.
