Original illustrated cardboard box w/Styrofoam insert/cover contains 4.5" tall painted die-cast metal and plastic figure of Godzilla's mechanical adversary - Mechagodzilla, complete w/all accessories. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy as part of their Chogokin (line of die-cast metal robot and character toys sold in Japan) line, 1978. Box has original Japanese Toho Co. Ltd. sticker and shows lt. corner tip wear. VF/Exc. Comes w/illustrated instruction sheet. Figure is complete w/both sets of hands that can be fired from spring-loaded wrists as well as center chest panel missile and plastic missiles in factory-sealed bag. NM. Wonderfully detailed set. Scarce as boxed and in this unused condition.
