Item Description
Spalding Official NL (Giles) baseball. Signed by members of the 1967 World Series Champions St. Louis Cardinals and has 26 signatures in total. Signatures include HOF members Steve Carlton, Orlando Cepeda, Red Schoendienst, Lou Brock and Bob Gibson. Other key players include - Dick Hughes, Nelson Briles, Curt Flood, Joe Hoerner and Tim McCarver (full list online). Led by HOF members Stan Musial as GM and Red Schoendienst as skipper, the team won 101 games and the NL pennant before securing the championship in Game Seven of the 1967 World Series, defeating the Boston Red Sox. Original owner added "1967 World Series" note on ball, which has bled somewhat but remains totally legible. Ball is o/w very clean and all signatures are strong. VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
