Item Description
Original 4.5x7.75x4.5" tall Spalding box contains small size salesman sample football w/"New York World's Fair 1939" decal showing Trylon and Perisphere. Spalding had an exhibit at the 1939-1940 Expo. Box shows even aging and has 1.25" tear to die-cut display lid. Box is VG. Ball is evenly aged and decal shows moderate wear w/moderate flaking. VG/Fine overall. An interesting salesman's sample, made even rarer w/the NYWF decal.
