Item Description
Pair of large original illustrated die-cut cardboard display boxes contain 11" long plastic "Turbo-Jet Car," its tin-litho "Automatic Launching Platform" which winds up and releases toy, works well. 16.75" long "Satellite Launcher" truck w/four 4.5" dia. plastic disc "satellites" that are launched via spring-loaded launcher that can be directed w/control knob. Free-wheeling truck also has revolving domed cockpit w/radar screen that can be controlled by a knob. Launching platform no longer works w/button but can be wound manually. Both 1950s. Both boxes show scattered wear/aging, Turbo-Jet has lid perforations on punched lid. Fine overall. Both toys are Exc. Comes w/full color 5.5x7.5" eight-page Ideal catalog.
