Official AL (Harridge) baseball. Signed by members of the 1949 Boston Red Sox and has 24 signatures in total. Signatures include HOF members Ted Williams (who has signed sweet spot) and Bobby Doerr. Other key players include - Vern Stephens, Billy Goodman, Ellis Kinder, Dom DiMaggio, Stan Spence and Walt Dropo (full list online). The signatures of Joe McCarthy and Birdie Tebbetts have been deemed clubhouse. Ball has had even coating of shellac applied but is o/w clean. Fine/VF w/distinct signatures.
