Item Description
Pair of sheets w/mixed media original art for prototype signs promoting 1950s Christmas premiums. Both were produced c. early 1950s, when the Rudolph craze was in full swing. Both sheets measure 18.75x24". First sheet shows "Free Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Whirl-O-Gig Decoration" and features mobile design w/Rudolph, Santa Claus, Christmas tree and ornaments. Penciled "Window Poster" label at bottom. Second sheet shows "Free Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas Card Holder" in the shape of a Christmas tree. Penciled "Poster" text at bottom. Both signs feature hand-lettered text that includes "Come In And Get Yours Now!" Vertical fold at centers w/some scattered creasing to Card Holder sheet. Fine to VF overall. Neat concepts. Both are unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
