Item Description
Neat pair of mechanical face original art prototype puppets. 1930s. Smaller, 10" tall stiff paper puppet was premium issue and features two different facial expressions. Tape repair to perforated face strip attached to back. Creasing to hat and at left eye, Fine/VF overall. Larger, 16" tall thin cardboard puppet was issued as store premium and features moving eyes and text on tongue that changes to read "Merry" and "Christmas." Santa is depicted holding "My List To Santa" in hand w/extensive hand-lettered list of gift ideas. VF/Exc. Neat and unique pair for the Santa Claus and Christmas collector. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
