Item Description
5-5/8x11" thin cardboard fully realized premium issued "With Purchase Of 4 Cans" of Van Camp's Beanee Weenee. 1950s. All exterior sides of cardboard flat feature mixed media original art (w/exception of "Van Camp's Weenee" label paste-over) and depicts airport buildings including control tower and Depot. Cut-outs for fighter plane, jet airliner, "Gas" truck and passenger crowd are also included as well as illustrations of helicopter, "U.S. Mail" truck, "Cab" and assembly instructions w/images of premium set up. Some lt. aging but VF/Exc. overall. 5.75x10-5/8" airport building flat also features original art very similar to that seen on previous item, but w/some subtle differences, including opening Depot doors. "A Creation Of Sam Gold - Premium King" foil crown sticker on underside. Missing one tab. Even lt. aging. VF. 11-5/815-5/8" flat features watercolor original art for enlarged airport building and airplane parts. Left margin (and back of right) has some glue staining as once assembled and sheet has some scattered aging. Fine overall. 7.25x12.25" thin cardboard flat has perforations for airport buildings, accessories and airplanes, but does not features any original art. Some penciled notations and spots of staining to "backs" of pieces. Fine. Neat lot showing this premium concept in development. Unique and extensive. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
