Item Description
2-5/8x6.75" premium comic book prototype features mixed media original art on front/back covers, showing portrait of Wild Bill Hickok on front beside hand-lettered "Wild Bill Hickok - Prince Of The Pistoleers - Ambushed By The Painted Scalphunters" title. Additional hand-lettered text notes "A Complete Illustrated Story - Watch For Other Stories In This Series." Back cover has ad for Kellogg's "Corn Pops" as this was proposed as a Kellogg's box insert premium. 1950s. Interior pages have penciled lines for text as well as cut-out and pasted vintage Western comic panels. Prototype shows some lt. even aging and handling wear but VF overall. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
