22x28.25" cardboard Globe poster for 1956 concert that featured Little Richard, Bill Doggett, Big Joe Turner, The 5 Keys, The Moon Glows, Faye Adams and Big Jay McNeely, all of whom are represented by photo images. Additional acts listed include Etta James and The Peaches, The 5 Satins, Tommy Brown, The Robins and Johnny Torres as MC. Headliners Little Richard and Doggett have largest photos at top and Little Richard has "Hee Bee Jee Bee, Ready Teddy" and "Rip It Up" song titles listed as well as Specialty Records label. Marquee area at top remains blank and shows scattered wear including some paperclip marks. Poster has even moderate aging and scattered surface wear along bottom margin, w/some paper remnants adhered. Small spot of surface paper off by Moon Glows photo. Lower right corner tip off. Fine overall. Poster is unrestored and in its original state. Wonderful poster featuring seven future members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This poster (in lesser condition) has sold for as much $11,700 at auction.
