Item Description
7x10" artboard has mixed media original art for premium punch-out card that would assemble jointed toy from a numbered series. ©1953. Listed in the American Card Catalog as F279-30C. Art has "17" pencil number, the number card this would eventually become. Art differs slightly from produced card, as final card featured Monko w/wide open mouth and different bow tie. Faint pencil title at top left. Pin holes at top corners. Artboard is Fine/VF overall but art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/two stats for the production card. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
