Item Description
Oversized 13x13.25" premium prototype for very similar premium that was produced as a space helmet and "Rocket Ray Gun." Top of dial has all original art image of the Earth in space w/"Out Of This World" banner crossing North America. Dial has sliding wheel that covers this, w/rocketship design and hand-lettered/painted "Remember The Date - May 15 To June 1 - Get Behind This Promotion - - - Now And Rocket Your Profits 'Out Of This World'." Dial opens to reveal back that continues "On Roto-Cold Refrigerators That's [sic] 'Out Of This World'. Another dial is included within, showing all original art image of children asking for premium w/hand-lettered/painted "A Free Offer That Will Have Every Kid In Your Town Working For You" text. Boy at center has larger, full color portrait while others are just blue lines. Dial has sliding wheel that reveals parts for "GE" space helmet and illustrated assembly instruction for ray gun. Opposite page has another dial showing boy wearing mask and shooting ray gun, sliding wheel showing darts in motion. Inside back cover has Roto-Cold refrigerator illustration w/cut-out windows allowing viewing of interior. Sliding wheel shows cold air circulating throughout when turned. Back is unpainted and has hand-lettered pencil noting Einson Freeman Co. Some scattered lt. wear/aging but all original art remains clean and prototype displays VF.
