Item Description
First is the 15/16" with metal shell frame resembling a doughnut. For unknown reason, but appearing as made, there are two small holes in the front frame rather than the usual single hole for suspension. One hole is at 2 and the other at 8 o'clock. On the Lane side, there is one hole at the correct 12 o'clock position ( this lines up with the 8 o'clock hole on the Breckenridge side). Breckenridge emulsion has small bit of bubbling, a few trivial tiny emulsion cracks, three near microscopic dots off by his right side hairline and a long but barely seen scratch from his name going down across his left eye and ending on left shoulder. Lane's emulsion has some waviness, five cracks on background or edges of image with one that crosses his creek from the left and goes below his nose. Damage has little visual impact as both ferros are extremely sharp and clear, have high gloss and no missing emulsion pieces. VG. Next is 1860-31 in red composition with wreath design. The Lane ferro is missing. The Breckenridge, with name above image, emulsion is clear and complete, although covered by tiny raised dots that show microscopically. Displays Exc. and quite scarce.
