Item Description
These eight buttons, from 13/16" to 1.25" appear on color plate pages 150-153, and 155 of Hake's Collectible Pin-Back Buttons. These span 1898 to c. 1918 with the exception of "Dizzy" Dean a litho.  from a 1930s set of baseball players. 3/16" hairline scratch on his hat and an tiny shallow dent over the word "Louis". All others are NM to Mint and include in order: Lincoln birthday celebration button, Admiral Dewey (with back paper naming a firm which has "Admiral Dewey In Life Size Wax In Show Window".) This has a tiny edge tear. Next is "Fighting Bob Evans" promoting "Angeles Café". Couple of very faint hairline scratches in reflected light. Superb color. Next is rare and full color portrait button for General Pershing. Likely c. 1919 homecoming. Next shows Prince Henry of Prussia and his wife Princess Irene issued for their 1902 visit to  the U.S. Next is George V in superb color issued for 1911 coronation. Tiny raised bump as made on bottom edge. Last is 1" gorgeous color oval by Weber Badge c. 1915 reading  "Potentate"  used by the Shrine fraternal group.  All are Exc. to Mint with the small exceptions noted. Comes with Hake's COA.
