Item Description
11x17" sheet of stiff art paper has ink and watercolor original art by noted illustrator and tattoo artist Tom Haubrick, depicting popular Marvel/IDW comic character Rom the Spaceknight, created as a Parker Bros. (currently a subsidiary of Hasbro) toy before making the jump to the pages of his own Marvel Comics title, written by Bill Mantlo w/art by Sal Buscema. This original art depicts Rom in freefall reentry to Earth's atmosphere and was created in 2007 for "Spaceknight: A Tribute To Bill Mantlo," a tribute show held by Floating World Comics in Portland, OR where all proceeds went toward medical care for Mantlo, who suffered severe brain damage and loss of motor functions after a hit-and-run accident in 1992. Haubrick has signed in white paint at lower right. NM and ready for framing.
