Item Description
3-7/8x5-7/8" glossy photo and 4.75x6.75" bw photo card from "Olympia 1936" German tobacco premium album, both signed in black felt tip pen by Leni Riefenstahl (1902-2003), Adolf Hitler's favorite film producer and director. Her work included documentary films prior to World War II including one about the Reich Party Congress 1934 in Nuremburg which got the highest awards, a gold medal in Venice in 1935 and the gold medal at the world exhibition in Paris in 1937.  Photo shows Riefenstahl w/camera while photo card shows stoneworker chiseling Jesse Owens' name into German Olympics memorial. Back has German text. Photo card has some lt. handling wear but both are Exc. overall. An interesting signed pair to frame together. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
