Item Description
14.5x22" poster for original Belgian release of the 1956 MGM Sci-Fi classic directed by Fred M. Wilcox and starring Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and Leslie Nielsen as well as Robby the Robot, one of the first movie robots that was more than just a mechanical tin can on legs. This is vertical format as opposed to the horizontal format (see item #2026). Classic image of Robby the Robot holding swooning woman in his arms w/futuristic space landscape in the bkg. Horizontal and vertical folds at center. Tax stamp at top right of marquee, which has theater showing information printed over it. Two pieces of white paper tape added at top on back. Poster shows very little aging/wear and is VF overall.
