Item Description
4.75x4.75x13" tall illustrated cardboard box contains 12" tall figural "Rocket Lite" flashlight by Ray-O-Vac Company, c. 1952. Box has great graphics of Commander Buzz Corry using Rocket Lite, rocketship w/alien spacecraft and Earth in bkg. Side panel text describes features/actions and mentions "Space Patrol" TV show as well as flashlight, bike light and whistle features. Box is complete w/cardboard insert and has scattered heavy moisture staining. Top flap loose but included. VG overall. Flashlight's tail fins have "Commander Buzz Corry - Official Space Patrol Rocket Lite" and is complete w/pliable rubber point tip. Decals show some aging w/a few minor flakes. Flashlight works. VF. Rare and one of only a few boxed examples we've offered in our 51 years.
