Item Description
Official Rawlings AL (Brown) baseball has been boldly signed in blue ink at the sweet spot by legendary Boston Red Sox player Ted Williams, a 19-time All-Star (1940-1942, 1946-1951, 1953-1960), two-time AL MVP (1946, 1949) who was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1966. This is a single-signed baseball issued by Upper Deck (complete w/their holographic sticker) from a limited edition of 1,941 a reference to Williams' best year, when he hit a batting average of .406, a record that stands to this day. Williams has added the ".406" designation below his name. Ball has been hand-numbered "94/1941" in blue ink on panel below signature. Ball is bright and clean w/bold signature. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
